Think big or you'll limit me
Thinking big has encouraged us throughout our 36-year history; in those challenging early years and during many years of fast growth. Thinking big helped us clarify our long-term mission, which we’re still more passionate about than ever: Transforming lives from our neighbourhoods to the nations by the power of God’s love. Thinking big helped us to buy land and build a place for us all to call ‘home’ in Peterborough. Thinking big led us to start a second campus in Cambridge followed by a third campus in Leicester, as well as being able to bless other churches and ministries nationally and internationally. Thinking big helped sustain us during the trial of covid and inspired us to set up an Online Campus out of that season. Since, thinking big has continued to encourage us in a post-pandemic season of rapid growth.
But what if this was just the beginning?
In 2024, we sensed the Lord giving us a fresh prophetic vision to THINK BIGGER AND BEYOND personally,intergenerationally, regionally, and internationally – an invitation to look ahead for the next 3-5 years. With thousands of amazing people who are part of the KingsGate family, as well as resources and influence, we can THINK BIGGER than ever before. This is not just an invitation to enlarge what we are already doing, though. We are also called to reach people, places, and future generations – we are called to THINK BEYOND.
This year, based on Acts 19, our vision includes a focus on multiplying our Spirit-filled groups, growing our come and see gatherings, reaching our region with the gospel, experiencing an increase of God’s miracle-working grace in us and through us, and increasingly practicing Christ-centred generosity.
Empowered by the Holy Spirit, as we partner together to THINK BIGGER AND BEYOND, the best really is yet to come!
